With 4 branches serving over 17,000 members across a 3-county region, Hartford FCU boasts an expansive field of membership. The AVP-Branch Operations should be a highly collaborative individual who is capable of leading the member-facing function of the credit union. The AVP-Branch Operations should be well-versed in all aspects of retail branch delivery. You will monitor and assess organizational performance, recommending strategies and training that will help employees meet and exceed goals in support of Hartford FCU’s key strategic initiatives.
The AVP-Branch Operations must excel at communication, both written and verbal. This role will present an opportunity to drive a strong sales and service culture within our branches.
Reporting directly to the EVP, the AVP-Branch Operations will serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, helping to set the tone for a branch network dedicated to the highest standards of member service. As a leader, you should be highly visible inside the organization and in our communities. The AVP-Branch Operations will also play a key role in deposit growth, product development, risk management, and member growth and retention.
As the AVP-Branch Operations, you will help develop an outreach strategy for the various markets served by Hartford FCU. You will be an accomplished developer of talent, growing and developing branch personnel and improving workflow efficiency in the retail delivery of the organization.

Help Us Get to Know You
Hartford FCU is a wonderful place to work, and we believe that you should have fun while working hard! Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of branch management experience (at a credit union or bank). Candidates must have experience managing remote/off-site locations. While a bachelor’s degree is not required, it is preferred. The AVP-Branch Operations will need to have their NMLS (or be willing to obtain it). The AVP-Branch Operations should be able to garner trust, with a proven ability to motivate and influence others.
