Are We the Place for You?
The Post Office Credit Union of Maryland ($32M; Baltimore MD) is seeking a Lending Manager to guide the overall lending function for the credit union. This is a great opportunity to join an established credit union with a rich tradition of service.

Originally chartered in 1929, the purpose of the Post Office Credit Union of Maryland (or POCUMD) has remained the same – We are a financial cooperative, organized solely for the promotion of thrift among our members by the accumulation of their savings in small amounts and the lending of such accumulations to our members for provident and productive purposes at a moderate rate of interest. Today, we are committed to providing ease of use and full-service banking to nearly 3,000 members, while we continue to grow and connect meaningfully to our field of membership.

Throughout the years, the name of our credit union has changed, but the board and management of POCUMD remain faithful to the founding philosophies that state "once a member, always a member" and that "we exist for our members and not for profit, not for charity, but for service to our members, the owners, of the Post Office Credit Union of Maryland." At POCUMD, we strive to live up to our motto “We Deliver for You.”

Is This the Career for You?
As the Lending Manager, you will be responsible for the lending and collection functions for the credit union, reporting directly to the President/CEO. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations and overseeing the performance of the lending staff. In this role, you will manage and lead all aspects of the consumer lending operation. The Lending Manager ensures an effective and efficient review process of loan applications in accordance with established loan policies, procedures, and external regulatory and statutory compliance requirements while working within an approved credit authority.
