MADISON, Wis.— Talent development leader CUES is pleased to announce the addition of two key players to its Professional Development team. The new team members underscore CUES’ continued commitment to providing exceptional quality talent development offerings for members.
Shannon Rola joins the Professional Development team after working with CUES on a contractual basis, programming CUES Execu/Summit and coordinating speaker materials for the High Performing Board Digital Series. Rola previously served as Associate Director in Executive Education at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where she conducted client needs assessments and oversaw program implementation. In addition, Rola brings access to a strong network of instructors and professors ready to raise the standard of credit union and non-profit education. Rola’s knowledge of CUES, along with her proven track record in logistics management, will prove invaluable in her new role as Content and Curriculum Manager.
“In her new role at CUES, Shannon will develop content for live-taught learning, whether in the classroom or through our Virtual Classroom series,” said Christopher Stevenson, CAE, CIE, CUES SVP/Chief Learning Officer. “She will also liaise with our current business school partners to ensure our Institute programs remain fresh and effective education for our attendees.”
Ashanti Williams, Ed.D., CUES new Digital Content and Curriculum Manager, will apply her expertise to the development of digital courses based on best practices in instructional design. Williams has an extensive background as a researcher and holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Sam Houston State University, as well as a Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University.
“Ashanti will be leading the charge on integrating our new Learning Management System, building out CUES digital programs, and converting existing online programs to improve our member experience,” said Stevenson. “We’re excited to welcome Shannon and Ashanti to CUES.”
Rola and Williams join Professional Development Coordinator Jennifer Scheib, who has been with the organization since December 2020, and Jaime Bochantin, Ph.D., who was recently hired as Vice President of Consulting Services, increasing the department’s bench strength and assuring the continued quality and effectiveness of CUES learning and development offerings.
