Jimese is VP of Membership at CUES, where she serves the people who help the people. Jimese started her career as a teller, working in various member support roles before landing the dream role in corporate philanthropy. She has also served in various leadership roles across the association and credit union industries.
Jimese earned her bachelor’s degree in communication from Jacksonville State University and Juris Doctorate from Birmingham School of Law. She has also completed the CEO Institute, earning the Certified Chief Executive designation (CCE) from CUES.
She has graced the stages for CUES, CUNA, AACUC, and NAFCU, sharing personal and business stories to impact strategy, talent development, and purpose-driven missions. Jimese is passionate about relationship building and driving engagement. Jimese will be speaking about creating a learning culture for Board and Staff. Research shows that a learning culture rests heavily on the power of the organization’s collective conversation, the ability to learn new ways of doing things, and the practice of constant evolution. During this session, we will explore personal stories of learning cultures and key concepts to create learning cohesion across the entire organization.
